The Alliance Against Domestic Violence Benefit Concert featured several Seattle and Tacoma area bands, a dash of comedy and magic and some prize giveaways too! The musical genre's included rock and roll, blues, pop, alternative rock, dance music, and positive hip hop. All of this Las Vegas type of entertainment could have cost more than $100 per ticket! But since all of the performers agreed to perform for free, the Emerald Queen Casino donated the whole 3rd deck of the boat, Good Sam's print shop helped us with posters and tickets, Ticketmaster gave us a great deal and the sound and lighting personnel donated their time as well, we were able to offer this night of magical entertainment for only $35.00 per person and 100% of that money went directly into programs that assist victims of domestic violence and programs that prevent domestic violence from happening in the first place. Incredibly ticket purchasers also received a free compilation CD featuring most of the performers that night plus a few more!  This Compilation CD is now available for purchase. Prizes and various forms of assistance were donated by Boesen Collision Center, Mad Cow Records, KZOK, KBTC, Puget Sounds TV, Tacoma News Tribune, Tacomascene.com, Robert Larson Volkswagon, Robert Larson Porche/Audi, Guitar Center, US Bank, The Daily Squeeze and The Shoboat Nightclub.
